How do I get started with DialMask?

You will need to download the DialMask app from the iTunes App Store. The registration process is fast and easy. All we need is your actual phone number. For countries outside the US and Canada, be sure to include the country code. After providing your phone number, DialMask will send you a text with a registration code. This code is required for completing the registration. After providing this code, you will complete the registration process by providing a pin that is at least four digits. This pin acts as your password for logging in.

What are the requirements for using DialMask?

To properly use DialMask, you need the following:

  • An active mobile device number
  • An iPhone 5s device or higher with iOS 8.0 or higher
  • A network connection (Wi-Fi, 3G, 4G, LTE)

How do I use my DialMask account?

Use it like you would any phone number. Make or receive calls. Texting (SMS) is available for phone numbers based in the US, Canada, France, Germany, or United Kingdom. Note before buying a phone number, make sure the number is SMS enabled. This can be seen in the Buy screen.

Can I have more than one phone number?

Yes! You can have as many numbers as you want. Go to the Shop tab, search for a phone number, and buy the one you like. On the Phone screen, you will see this number available in the top-most box after you select it. On the Message screen, you can see this number available by creating a New Message and selecting the number in the From box.

Can I call phone numbers in my personal address book?

Absolutely. You need to allow DialMask to access your Contacts. Afterwards, you can access your contacts on the Phone screen by tapping on the icon above the “1” button. Your contacts will then be visible for you to select and call.

How do I delete a phone number?

You can do this by going to the Settings screen. There you will see all your phone numbers. Select the number you would like to delete. On the next screen, tap the Delete This Number button. By confirming this action, you will delete all call and message history associated with this number. Be aware there is no way to retrieve this number after it has been deleted.

Can I get my number back after it has been deleted?

No. After it has been deleted, we cannot retrieve this number to your account.

Can I set up a personal greeting for my voicemail?

Not at this time. But rest assured, we are working on having this feature available soon.

Can I receive calls to my DialMask numbers through my native phone app?

Yes you can by turning on the call forwarding feature. Go to the Settings screen and select the phone number you wish to call forward. Make sure the Call Forwarding option is turned on. Note by turning on this feature you will incur a small additional charge.

Can I host conference calls?

Yes you can by turning on the conference call feature. Go to the Settings screen and select the phone number you wish to host conferences. Make sure the Conference Call option is turned on and provide a numeric pass code for users to use. Note by using this feature, standard call rates applied per conference participant.

How long can I keep my phone number(s)?

Each phone number expires after 4 weeks. But you can keep these numbers as long as your account has sufficient funds. Each number costs at least $2 depending on the country. At the end of the 4 weeks, we will automatically deduct funds from your account.

What happens when I don’t have sufficient funds in my account?

If you don’t have sufficient funds in your account, you cannot make or receive phone calls. You also cannot send or receive text messages.

Will DialMask be available for Android phones?

Yes, very soon. Make sure you join our Facebook page so we can notify you as soon as it is available.

How does DialMask charge me?

DialMask operates like a prepaid phone where you prefund your account. As you use your DialMask number(s), your account will be deducted automatically.

How do I prefund my account?

You can prefund within the DialMask app, or through this website. Within the app, go to the Shop tab, tap the Fund My Account option and follow the directions to fund your account. On the web, you will first need to log in to view your account. Afterwards, you can add additional funding. We do require you have a PayPal account to prefund through the web.

How do I see my account balance?

Within the DialMask app, go to the Shop screen and you can see your account balance.

How can I view the current call and text rates?

By going to the Shop screen, you have the option of viewing call rates based on country or by the phone number you wish to dial. For texts, you can view the rates based on country.
